Most white Americans are probably not racist. But every single white American has committed a racist act. Probably without even knowing it. This is the problem. You're not even aware when it happens. But people of color are FULLY aware. It happens on an almost daily basis BTW. Being followed in a store... a sideways glance... a microagression here or there... Plenty of blame to go around? This is a white problem, created by white people ever since the founding of this country. The problem is being dismissive and not owning it. George Floyd didn't murder himself. Neither did Ahmed Aubrey. Christian Cooper didn't call the cops on himself. This is not a black conversation to have anymore. This is not our problem. White people broke it, white people need to fix it.
